IOM Vienna recruits interns for project support and assistance to the office's regular activities.

 

Internship in the Development or Programme Unit 

IOM Vienna recruits interns according to requirements, who support the office in the framework of projects and activities in its function as Liaison Mission to Austria, the OSCE and International Organizations in Vienna.  

 

Internship at the National Contact Point  to the European Migration Network

IOM Vienna also offers internships in the framework of the National Contact Point to the European Migration Network (EMN). You can find more information on this project here.

Application

The duration of internships is usually 3-6 months. Interviews with IOM staff are conducted at the office in Vienna or if not otherwise possible, by phone. Travel costs cannot be reimbursed by IOM Vienna. 

Requirements 

Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as basic knowledge and interest in the field of migration are prerequisites for a successful application. Knowledge of other languages (particularly German) is a distinctive advantage.
