Julia Rutz
Head, Research and Migration Law Unit
Julia Rutz is the head of unit and responsible for implementing the National Contact Point Austria within the European Migration Network. Prior to her assignment with IOM, she was a lecturer at the degree programme International and European Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. In addition to foreign assignments for several years with EUPOL COPPS in Palestine and the OSCE in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Julia Rutz conducted many trainings and consultations in the area of Human Rights. Her background is composed of Legal Studies as well as practical work as a lawyer at an international law firm.

Saskia Heilemann (née Koppenberg)
Focal Point for Statistics
Research Associate,
Deputy Head of Unit
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Saskia Heilemann is responsible for conducting studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, she is IOM Vienna's Statistics Focal Point. Prior to her assignment with IOM Vienna, Saskia Heilemann worked as Programme Support Officer at IOM Cairo. She graduated in International Development from the University of Vienna.

Rainer Lukits
Focal Point for Migrants' Rights
Legal Associate
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Rainer Lukits is responsible for studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, he is IOM Vienna's Focal Point for Migrants' Rights and supports other units in legal matters. Prior to his assignment with IOM, Rainer Lukits worked as Legal Associate in various law firms and as University Assistant at the University of Salzburg.

Nina Printschitz
Research and Communications Associate
Nina Printschitz is responsible for research and communications aspects of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network. Nina Printschitz studied educational sciences at the University of Vienna. Prior to her assignment with IOM, she was employed at the Austrian Integration Fund as a research assistant in the area of ​​integration and migration.
