Mária Temesvári
Head of Research
Mária Temesvári is the head of the research department at the IOM Country Office Vienna since September 2012. She is responsible for the coordination of the Austrian National Contact Point to the European Migration Network. She has been working with IOM since 2008. Previously she undertook research activities for the National Contact Point to the European Migration Network in the field of migration and asylum and was responsible for the legal support of the other units at IOM Vienna. Before joining IOM Ms. Temesvári worked amongst others for a Viennese law firm as associate. She studied law at the University of Vienna and at the Universitá degli Studi „La Sapienza“ in Rome and holds a European Masters’ Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from Venice (Italy) and Galway (Ireland).

Theresa Bittmann
Research Assistant
Ms. Theresa Bittmann supports the research activities of the National Contact Point to the European Migration Network (EMN), especially the elaboration of studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Ms Bittmann holds a bachelor's degree in business administration of the FH Krems University of Applied Sciences and the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), she successfully completed a master program in Advanced European and International Studies at the Institut Européen (France) and the Institut für Europäische Politik (Germany).

Adel-Naim Reyhani
Legal Assistant
Mr. Adel-Naim Reyhani supports the research activities of the National Contact Point to the European Migration Network (EMN) in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, he supports other units at IOM in Vienna in the field of law. Before joining IOM, Mr Reyhani worked as legal assistant for the Asylum Court and as legal advisor in the asylum and aliens’ police procedure. He holds a university degree in law from the University of Graz (Austria).

Saskia Koppenberg
Research Assistant
Saskia Koppenberg supports the research activities of the National Contact Point in the European Migration Network (EMN), especially the elaboration of studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. She graduated in International Development from the University of Vienna. Ms Koppenberg joined IOM Vienna in October 2012. Before, she was Program Support Officer at IOM Cairo. Besides, she conducted research on the link between migration and development with focus on forced migration.
