Andrea Götzelmann
Head, Department for Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration
Andrea Götzelmann has been working with IOM Vienna since 2008. As Head of the Department for Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration, she is responsible for the supervision of various projects and employees. In addition, she develops project proposals in the area of assisted voluntary return and reintegration. Ms. Götzelmann studied Political Science and English at the Universities of Vienna and Edinburgh.

Daniela Blecha
Project Coordinator
Daniela Blecha has been working with IOM since 2008. She is responsible for the implementation of the project Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to Pakistan. Prior to this assignment, she worked for the research department and carried out various projects on unaccompanied minors. Ms. Blecha studied Psychology and Development Studies at the University of Vienna, the University of Lund and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Agata Foryś
Project Coordinator
Agata Foryś is responsible for the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to the Russian Federation/Chechen Republic". Prior to her assignment with IOM, she was Head of the Legal Assistance for Refugees and Migrants Program at the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw and worked for a number of European and Polish organizations on various research, monitoring and training projects in the field of migration and asylum. She studied at the Universities of Toruń and Utrecht and holds a master's degree in law.

Julia Gall
Project Coordinator
Julia Gall has been working with IOM since July 2012. She is responsible for the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to the Russian Federation/Chechen Republic". She studied Political Science, Russian and Communication Studies at the Universities of Vienna and Krasnodar. Prior to her assignment with IOM, Ms. Gall worked as consultant for a political consulting company with international focus, for the Austrian Ministry of European and International Affairs, for ACCORD/Austrian Red Cross and for an Austrian NGO giving legal advice to asylum-seekers.
Sophie Hofbauer
Project Coordinator
Sophie Hofbauer joined IOM Vienna in 2012 and is responsible for the implementation of the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to Georgia". From 2007 to 2012 she worked for UNHCR, IOM and a consultancy firm in Ethiopia and Côte d'Ivoire. She completed her studies in Film, Theatre and Media and German Literature at the Universities of Vienna and Tours. She has a European master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization.
Katie Klaffenböck
Project Coordinator
Katie Klaffenböck has been with IOM since October 2009. She currently works on the project "Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Minors and Young Adults from Moldova with emphasis on the Prevention of (Re-)Trafficking" and also supports the project assisting returnees to the Chechen Republic. Before joining the AVRR Department, Ms. Klaffenböck served as Assistant to the Chief of Mission of IOM Vienna and as a consultant on migrant smuggling at UNODC. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in European Union Studies.

Sabine Lang-Rosenfeld
Project Assistant
Sabine Lang-Rosenfeld has been with IOM since July 2008. Since 1 July 2012 she has been working on the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to the Russian Federation / Chechen Republic". Before taking up her current position, Ms. Lang-Rosenfeld worked as Office and Administrative Assistant for IOM Vienna and assisted the office in all administrative and organizational issues. Prior to her assignment at IOM she worked as Project Assistant for company Hewlett-Packard on projects in Central Asia and South Eastern Europe. Ms. Lang-Rosenfeld studied Regional Economics with focus on Eastern Europe at the Eberhard-Karls University in Tübingen (Germany).

Evelyn Rainer
Project Coordinator
Since February 2013, Evelyn Rainer has been responsible for the implementation of the project "Voluntary Return and Reintegration Assistance for Nigerian Nationals in Austria". Before taking over the management of this project, she was tasked with implementing the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to the Russian Federation / Chechen Republic". She studied Cultural and Social Anthropology as well as Russian at the Universities of Vienna and of Vladivostok. Before working at IOM, Ms. Rainer was employed at the Information Centre for Central Asia and the Southern Caucasus as well as at the Institute of Iranian Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
Angelika Scherzer
Project Coordinator
Ms. Angelika Scherzer joined the Department for Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration in March 2012. Until June 2012, Ms. Scherzer was responsible for implementing the project "Return and Reintegration Assistance for Voluntary Returnees to Kosovo". Currently she coordinates the project "Assistance for the Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Returnees to Afghanistan". Prior to her assignment with IOM, Ms. Scherzer worked at CARE Austria as Program Officer for Africa where she monitored the implementation of projects in various African countries. She also worked for several other international and non-governmental organizations. Ms. Scherzer holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Development Studies from the University of East Anglia in the UK and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain.

Barbara Albrecht
Currently on Maternity Leave
Barbara Albrecht has been working with IOM since July 2011. She is responsible for the implementation of the project “Voluntary Return and Reintegration Assistance for Nigerian Nationals”. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Albrecht worked on operations, counter-trafficking and gender issues within IOM Vienna and UN Women in Rwanda. Ms. Albrecht studied at the Universities of Vienna and Paris Descartes and holds a Master's Degree in Development Studies.
